I just spend so much of my time browsing and finding such interesting fragments of the internet that it would be a waste not to have a place to store them... maybe later I'll add some fuzzy search 😯

It always bothered me how much time people waste on pleasantries on digital communication, like... One message to say 'Hi' and then waiting for a reply, and then another message to say 'How are you?' and then waiting for a reply... IDK... It's just way too much friction for me. If you wanna talk: please call me, invite me to an online meeting, or maybe tell me the address of the coffee shop where we can meet. Otherwise, just send me the actual message you want to say. This guys explains it better than I do.

Please read it... is really good, and I think it will save you a lot of time.

    URL 🔗

Thinking that knowledge is for those who can pay for it, and not for those who need it, is really fucked up. And yeah, this is not free, but not for lack of trying. Sci-Hub made a huge, great impact on open science, and because "free" is usually a bad business model — not for profit, but just for keeping the project running — we now have Sci Net, with crypto, Web3 stuff, and nice things that encourage people to share good knowledge and quality stuff.

  • How To Ask Questions The Smart Way

    URL 🔗

  • OliveTin

    URL 🔗

Is just a tool I found while arranging some stuff for my university... The outcome of my work was mainly a collection of docker-compose files that would help deploy the infraestrucuture. For non IT people it was a bad idea 🫠. Using OliveTin is helping me give them a good way to interact with the developed infraestructure.

  • On the working definition of Intelligence

    URL 🔗

Now that everyone is talking about AI, I think it's important to have a clear definition of what intelligence is. Mainly to avoid the hype and the marketing bullshit. This is a good starting point.

I really like Obsidian, the graph view and the connectivity dynamics help me a lot in my current thinking process/workflow. And Quartz just let me publish my notes as a website —hostable in GitHub Pages— with the graph view and all the Obsidian goodness. So yeah... NIIIICE.

Also... Notes can be public or private.

Like, the blog is really self explanatory... but adds should not be the norm, just google —and similar companies— actually profit out of them; but, because of them, the internet experience is just way worst. So, maybe install an AddBlocker, Please 😸?
