  Creo que los últimos 10 años de mi vida, han sido un esfuerzon inconsciente por convertir al «otro» en «nosotros»; lograr entender el valor rizomático de las relaciones. Si lo perdiera todo, incluso a mí mismo, seguiría apostando por el «nosotros». El «nosotros» siempre llegará mas lejos que el «tú» o el «yo», cada uno por su lado.

  Cuando uno se enfrenta al frío extremo, y se despierta ese rechazo natural —grabado en nuestros instintos— que se puede asociar con el miedo a la muerte, y se traciende la sensación del dolor, se experimenta un tipo de libertad que es difícil de describir con palabras. En mi caso fue el silencio absoluto, cuando salí del agua helada, tomé un respiro profundo y todo lo que me estaba acomplejando, doliendo, o preocupando, dejó de estar ahí... ese tipo de incomodidades se disuelven en el frío.

  This is something my father once thought me as a child. In different terms —never mentioned the jews haha—, but with the same meaning. And is the reason that I have to go back to Colombia. Not because of love, but because of a deep sense of responsability.
